May Sketch Challenge with Life.Paper.Scrapbook.

1:22 PM

Hello sadly neglected blog, and happy May!! I'm excited to be sharing Life.Paper.Scrapbook.'s May Sketch Challenge with you today! Here is May's sketch:

To be perfectly honest, I struggle with sketches a lot. I often have a hard time interpreting them any way but literally. Especially when it's a simple sketch like this one!! I decided to work with torn edges using some papers that were waiting to be used.

The torn edges combined with the removal of the circles helped me make this sketch my own!

  1. Love your page and your interpretation of the sketch. I am terrible at them as well and find it hard to do anything but follow them literally. It takes a bit of effort to make it my own, which I think is why I didn't do them often. I'm trying to push myself so that is why I am trying to do them lately and push myself creatively.
