No Photo Layout

4:00 AM

Good morning and happy Monday! The other day I found myself creatively uninspired. I was comparing my scrapbooking style to other people's and was having a hard time scrapping. I decided to make a layout about how I was feeling.

Supplies: Patterned Paper (Amy Tangerine Plus One 6"x6" paper pad), Embellishments (Crate Paper, Pink Paislee, My Mind's Eye, A Flair for Buttons, Doodlebug), Acetate Paper (Dear Lizzy Polka Dot Party), Cardstock (American Crafts), Font (Dollie Script)
To create this layout, I used my Cameo to cut the Diagonal Diamonds cut file, and then the words I wanted. I had a lot of fun backing the cut file with different patterns, and found it very therapeutic! By the time this layout was said and done, I felt much better about life. I love how scrapbooking allows me to process my thoughts and feelings!

It's kind of strange to have a layout without a photo in it, but I love it and am going to hang it on my inspiration board in my scrap area!

Have you ever made a no photo layout?

  1. absolutely. I scrap Bible scripture quotes that I'm studying or that have convicted my heart in a special way at that moment.

  2. Allie, I just LOVE this!! I have made a layout for Creative Scrappers one time that had no photo...it was hard at first, but then I got into it. I made it a motivational piece just like you did here. Yours is beautiful, as always :)
